6-3-2024 Sharing my story as a motherless child, a survivor of mass family murder, accidental death, and insanity before 6 years old and other challenges and tragedies. U will not believe I still am a success. It is a myth that a dysfunctional black family creates automatically failures in their offspring. I am not an exceptional most kids go through similar tragedies and yet succeed. But watching the various television shows about the various serial killers that were active during the time I was working, going to college and all during the day time, night time and early morning hours, I am grateful to God that I did not become a victim. My son I took to the babysitter at 5 o’clock in the morning so I could go to work. At 6 pm I caught Chicago El and bus to night school, and at 9 pm I caught the El to my bus stop so that I could pick my son up from the babysitter and get home at 11 pm.
